2" Faux Wood blinds are available in solid colours. The Faux wood Solid has the look of real wood blinds without the cost. They can be used in virtually any room in the house. The 2" faux wood can be ordered with Optional Cloth Tapes too to add a bit of style to any area. They tend to have a plantation shutter look to them and with their individual slats it makes it easy to adjust the light and privacy in a room by rotating the louvers to different angles. Faux wood blinds are perfect in rooms with high humidity or moisture too. Faux woods are not affected by water and can easily be wiped off with a soft cloth. They can be used in garages or play rooms too because of their durability and ease of cleaning.

Privacy Option

2" Elite Horizontal blinds are available with an exclusive privacy option designed to prevent unwanted light from entering the room. With the privacy option, the large rout holes at the centre of each slat are removed, reducing the light by up to 35% compared to standard blinds. Privacy option is NOT available with Activator continuous loop controls or with 2" Aluminum Blinds.

Valance Options

All 2" Elite Horizontal blinds are supplied with a complementary colour coordinated valance. Valance returns are supplied upon request for outside mount blinds.

TILT OPTIONS

2" Elite Horizontal Blinds feature moveable slats that can be tilted to block the sun or filter light as desired. Please specify L, R or split controls on your order. Blinds less than 20" must have split tilt and lift controls at opposite sides of the headrail; LR or RL. Please specify wand, cord, or motor tilt options on your order.

Wand Tilt (standard option): Eco Wood & Urban Fauxwood will be made with a wooden Colour-coordinated tilt wand, available in 24", 36" or 48" lengths only. For blind height less than 24", we recommend cord tilt only. Aluminum blinds will be made with a clear acrylic tilt wand, available in 12", 24", 36", 48", 60" or 72" lengths only.

Cord Tilt: pull cords with colour coordinated tassels.

Motor Tilt: remote controlled 12V DC motor (battery or transformer powered) located within theheadrail. See Elite Automation section of pricelist for motor pricing.

LIFT OPTIONS

2" Elite Horizontal Blinds can be raised completely for a clear view outside or lowered for privacy. Please specify L, R or split controls on your order. Blinds less than 20" must have split tilt and lift controls at opposite sides of the headrail; LR or RL. Please specify cord, Activator, or cordless lift options on your order.

Cord Lift (standard option): with child-safe breakaway cord tassels.

MEASURING GUIDELINES

Precise width and height measurements are critical. Please use a metal measuring tape for best accuracy when taking measurements. The headrail must be installed perfectly level and installed evenly to ensure smooth operation. For Inside Mount, it is recommended to check whether the mounting surface is level and consistent. If your soffit needs to be leveled, this should be done before measuring.

Inside Mount

Measure across the width of your window opening in three different places: top, middle and bottom. Measurements should be taken within the window jamb. Provide the smallest of the three measurements to Elite - be exact! Elite will make the necessary deductions to fit the window opening. Measure the length of the window opening from the underside of the soffit to the surface of the window sill in two places; use the smallest of these two measurements.

Outside Mount

Measure the exact width and length of the area to be covered. On the width, allow at least 1ï¿½" of an overlap on each side. An overlap of 3" on each side is recommended. Be sure to take into consideration any obstructions such as, moldings, locks, and window cranks.

Warranty Information

BLINDS EPRESS HORIZONTAL BLINDS LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY

Our Guarantee: Once you are satisfied with your Faux Wood Blinds and the way it is installed in your home, BLINDS EPRESS guarantees your blinds will be free from defects due to faulty workmanship or materials for a life time-limited warranty from the date of purchase, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the installation instructions. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, in the original windows for which it was intended in residential properties only.

Three Year Warranty: For the period of three years from the date of purchase, BLINDS EPRESS will repair or replace any slat which is defective.

Our Obligation To You: For claims covered by the guarantee, BLINDS EPRESS will replace or repair any product, with like or similar parts, found to be defective as a result of faulty workmanship or materials, and excludes shipping cost, trip charges and labor cost for measuring and installation.

Guarantee Limits: This guarantee does not apply to any EuroWood Blinds or parts thereof which fail due to accident, alterations, improper use, abuse, neglect, normal wear, nor color fading due to sunlight, direct exposure to salt air, failure to follow instructions for measuring, installing or operating the product. Slight warpage and variation in color and grain are normal and not considered defects.

Any defect, malfunction or other failure of the product to conform to this limited guarantee will be remedied by BLINDS EPRESS solely in the manner provided in this guarantee.

THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER, AND IS INTENDED TO EXCLUDE, ANY ALL LIABILITY ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY, WHETHER UNDER THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE OR UNDER ANY GUARANTEE IMPLIED BY LAW, FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH THEREOF EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED ABOVE IN THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE, THE COMPANY HEREBY NEGATES AND DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS GUARANTEES.

Notes: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion regarding such damages may not apply to you. Also, this limited Guarantee gives specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Shipping Fees

UPS or FedEx Ground Shipping:
This applies to all orders under 96 inches in width or length shipping to an address in the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. If it travels by UPS or FedEx then shipping is FREE! Please call us for shipping quotes outside the covered area. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurrs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.

Oversize Products Shipping Fee:
If your package is 96 inches or over in width or length it will be shipped by common carrier (semi truck) from the nearest manufacturing facility to you. There will be a .00 oversize shipping charge for any order with products that are 96 inches or more in width or length. This charge is per manufacturer. Meaning if you order two oversized products and they are from two different manufacturers (two different brands) then there will be TWO charges for a total of 0 shipping. But, if you have more than one product over 96 inches at it is from same manufacturer you will only pay one oversize fee. The fee is per order, not per blind. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.
