Product Description:

The Scarf Pole Mounted Valance that is shown in the photo here is in Silk, Gold, with a Wine/Gold fringe and a 28"-48" Antique Brass Rod Set with Ball finials. The Scarf valance is a long piece of light fabric loosely draped or wrapped on a rod or pole. The silk fabrics are very popular with the scarf valance. Natural irregularities give the silk fabric its unique character. The appearance of slubs, nubs, loops and barre ridges are accepted as normal and should not be considered defects. If necessary, steam silk to remove stubborn wrinkles. Dry cleaning is the recommendation with all of our valances but generally spot cleaning can be done if needed. This window valance should be unlined or self lined. The Scarf Valance comes 50" wide x 144" (4 yards) or 216" (6 yards) in length from the bottom of the rod pocket.

This window topper includes a 1/2" self bias tape. You can upgrade the Fringe only on the bottom and inside edge. These Scarf Valances can greatly alter the mood of a room. The Scarf is such a luxurious window top treatment which can really dress up a room or setting. Any type of undertreatment such as blinds or shades can be used with the Scarf to make it anywhere from casual to very formal.

How To Install

Installation is a breeze. If you ordered the poles and hardware from us it will include proper installation instructions in the package. Basically, all you will need to do is screw the "L" shaped brackets above the window, sheer on the valance material if applicable and then let the rod drop into the cupped portion of bracket and tighten with the set screw provided.

Our Guarantee: Once you are satisfied with your new Prestige Toscana Soft Treatment Valances and the way it is installed in your home, Prestige Window Fashions guarantees your shade will be free from defects due to faulty workmanship or materials for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the installation instructions. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, in the original windows for which it was intended in residential properties only.

Our Obligation To You: For claims covered by the guarantee, Prestige Window Fashions will replace or repair any product, with like or similar parts, which are found to be defective as a result of faulty workmanship or materials and excludes shipping costs, trip charges and labor costs for measuring and installation.

Guarantee Limits: This guarantee does not apply to any Prestige Toscana Soft Treatment Valances or parts thereof which fail due to accident, alteration, improper use, abuse, neglect, normal wear, nor color fading dut to sunlight, direct exposure to salt air, failurre to follow instructions, installing or operating the product. Any defect, malfunction or other failure of the product to conform to this limited guarantee will be remedied by Prestige Window Fashions solely in the manner provided in this guarantee.

THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER, AND IS INTENDED TO EXCLUDE, ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY, WHETHER UNDER THIS LIMITED GUARANTE OR UNDER ANY GUARNATEE IMPLIED BY LAW, FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH THEREOF EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED ABOVE IN THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE, THE COMPANY HEREBY NEGATES AND DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS GUARANTEES.

Note: Some states do not allow the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion regarding such damages may not apply to you. Shipping Fees

UPS or FedEx Ground Shipping:
This applies to all orders under 96 inches in width or length shipping to an address in the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. If it travels by UPS or FedEx then shipping is FREE! Please call us for shipping quotes outside the covered area. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurrs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.

Oversize Products Shipping Fee:
If your package is 96 inches or over in width or length it will be shipped by common carrier (semi truck) from the nearest manufacturing facility to you. There will be a .00 oversize shipping charge for any order with products that are 96 inches or more in width or length. This charge is per manufacturer. Meaning if you order two oversized products and they are from two different manufacturers (two different brands) then there will be TWO charges for a total of 0 shipping. But, if you have more than one product over 96 inches at it is from same manufacturer you will only pay one oversize fee. The fee is per order, not per blind. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurs a 0.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.
